COUSINS
It's not too often that you get one-on-one time with your cousin Louis, but you did for a bit today! And of course you had a blast, as you practically worship him and his big sis! I look at these photos and can't get over how big Louis is! Time flies. I remember when he was a snuggly baby boy!
Oh and we can't stop laughing at the photo below. You look like Harry Potter casting a spell. That concentration! Ha!
IRIS
Despite your faces in this photo you had a great time with Iris the other day! There's just nothing sweeter than getting to know a new little one. And it's so special to watch someone you've known for a long time become a (great) mom! I see many adventures for you two in the future!
A WEEK OF ADVENTURES
This week your mommy has been quite sick. And the experience has made me even more grateful for family who have taken care of you and loved on you and entertained you for a couple of days while I recuperated. It's been one adventure after another for you this week, my love. From hanging out with your cousin Louis and grams and grandpa to bike rides with naenae and a visit to grandpa's station! You've had a time, Maeve! I'm happy to be feeling a little better and to be your sidekick once again! I've missed being around you all the time!
BEACH FUN
Biking to the pier. Swimming in the pool. Ice cream. Watching boats come and go in Beaufort. Splash pad fun. Beach visit. So many fun memories were made this weekend when you and I visited naenae and grandpa at the beach!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA
You had the best time celebrating your grandpa's birthday yesterday! Grandpa, grams, auntie Gina, uncle Taylor, Isla and Louis (and of course daddy and I) were all on hand to celebrate! Highlights include playing out back and dancing the night away with your cousins. You slept like a rock last night! Incidentally, "rock" is also one of your new favorite words. Go figure, it does rhyme with "clock," after all. Your most favorite!
