You girls. You're too cute together! Last night we had dinner at Sam and Meg's house and it was the first time you had seen Lucy in about a month! This time you both definitely noticed one another! You each sat on your respective mommy's lap in the floor and checked the other out. Noises were made. Cutie-pie faces were made. It was pretty much the most adorable thing ever.
Then you both played together on the floor. Well, you were so excited about Lucy's toy that you played with it while Lucy looked on. She kept rubbing her feet against you, though. It was so cute.
There's something about seeing longtime friends as parents. In the same season of life. It's pretty amazing. The other day while waiting for coffee at Weaver Street I saw two little girls holding hands and skipping through the market. I immediately thought of you and Lucy, years from now, and my heart swelled. We love you Lucy!
