Last week was a big week, and a hot one! It feels like summer, even though it isn't officially for a few days! Some highlights of last week include visiting a new park, getting some surprise packages (including a huge princess palace) from auntie Dedi, seeing the North Carolina Symphony perform, a trip to Pullen Park with mommy and naenae and grandpa (you loved the train and the carousel!), an evening spent with grams and grandpa and a pool day with mommy and daddy! And on Sunday you helped naenae plant some flowers at her house!
Also...
- You wore your hair in two pigtails for the first time! It was painfully adorable (see below)!
- Your new favorite book is Curious George Loves to Ride.
- Your new favorite words are "uh-oh" and "again" (which you repeat after we finish Curious George Loves to Ride - ha)!
- You got your first Barbie doll! And for the record, I think it's absolutely OK for you to play with Barbie dolls. They were my favorite toys growing up and I still managed to be a feminist!
- You are running around everywhere!
